There is a huge range of leisure activities available locally from surfing, sailing, swimming, tennis, golf, cycling, horseriding, walking as well as enjoying the beach and its rock pools and building sandcastles. Equipment can be hired and tuition is generally available. One of our favourites is to take the 5 min foot ferry to Padstow, hire some bikes, cycle along the beautiful Camel trail alongside the estuary with its stunning views, stop for an ice-cream in Wadebridge, carry on to the award winning Camel Valley Vineyard for some wine tasting and back to Padstow for Fish and chips at Rick Stein’s. A perfect day !
